ACE Supports Big Brothers Big Sisters with Donations, Volunteers
ACE Cash Express stores in Arizona and New Mexico raised $12,015 to help change the lives of children facing adversity in their communities.
During ACE's annual Give a Little Campaign fundraiser, employees made donations to four local chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters and also participated in volunteer events.
"Community service is a big part of ACE's culture," said Vianney Avendano, Region Vice President of ACE. "Big Brothers Big Sisters is a great organization. Our customers and employees feel great knowing that their generosity will impact the lives of children in the communities where we live and do business."
Big Brothers Big Sisters serves the community by carefully matching at-risk youths with caring, adult role models, and has had proven success in helping these children advance in school.
"Thanks to partners like ACE Cash Express, we are able to reach more children in the community," said Jamar Jones, Director of Partnerships at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona. "Their donation will go a long way in helping us fulfill our mission."As a national partner of Big Brothers Big Sisters, ACE has donated more than $150,000 to the organization through the ACE Community Fund, ACE's charitable-giving program. Since its inception in 2004, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $8.5 million to organizations across the nation and focuses on helping children, providing education and promoting financial literacy in the communities where ACE has stores.
