ACE Cash Express Announces New Chief Operating and Financial Officers
IRVING, TEXAS -- ACE Cash Express, Inc., a leading retailer of financial services, announced that Douglas Lindsay has been promoted to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Temple Weiss will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective immediately.
Lindsay is being promoted after seven years with ACE. He joined ACE in 2005 as Vice President of Finance and quickly distinguished himself by excelling in a critical leadership role. In 2008, Lindsay was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and has displayed a results-oriented business acumen and leadership style that will transition well into his new role. Lindsay holds a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.

Weiss joins ACE after over ten years with La Quinta Inns & Suites, a $4 billion lodging company with over 800 limited service hotels across North America, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. His career includes progressive roles in investor relations, treasury, mergers & acquisitions and finance. Weiss holds a BBA in Management and International Business from Baylor University and an MHM in Hospitality Management and Finance from the University of Houston.
